About The Client
The client owns the most sought-after brand for selling solid wood furniture and owns the most exclusive yet extensive collection of live edge tables in North America. Down the line after achieving great success, they have expanded their product range in a similar market segment.
Problem Statement
While having an offline and online presence, centralizing the order and inventory data can be a trickster. To enhance the experience and precision for users during the shopping, showing location-based quantities has been the perfect solution the client wanted.
But here is the catch! The bifurcation of location-based quantity display can be implemented with native functionality which does not come in Shopify customization. This is what required totally custom criteria in order to filter the locations. To display the ETA along with a message, customization in Shopify was needed too.
Solution
To meet the unique set of protocols related to consumer locations and product quantity, our Shopify developers created a custom script to build a bespoke Shopify application.
A personalized messaging system was set up in English and French languages to share the ETA of ordered products. Backend functionality was built and implemented that easily allows owners or workers to manage the SKUs.
