Migrating eCommerce Storeto Shopify

The client is a big-shot medical equipment manufacturer and has physical retail stores in New York. They wanted to leverage the power of eCommerce with a new design and trending features to increase their reach across the United States and boost sales.

Customer retention was becoming a glaring issue for the business growth and it was the core problem we felt in our initial one-on-one with the client.

The major challenge was to implement the custom designs on the Shopify theme. Since Shopify is a self-hosted platform, it has many limitations in terms of customization. Customizing Shopify templates needs expert-level Shopify knowledge and a thorough understanding of Shopify templating.

Also, the client wanted to integrate GoFlow for shipping. As per the business requirement, it was a bit tricky to integrate their API.

At first, an engaging web design was created under the guidance of a Shopify expert to make it compatible with Shopify standards. Design implementation was done on the selected Shopify theme with standard Shopify practices and scalability.

For GoFlow shipping integration, a Shopify App/Plugin was developed to meet the custom requirement of the client.

Also, the migration of products needed special expertise to map the existing variable products database with the new database structure of Shopify and smooth import of products.
